Fishing and Hunting

The Stångå system, Kinda’s blue vein, includes lakes Åsunden, Ämmern, Björkern and Juttern. Åsunden offers excellent fishing, mainly perch and pike. Ämmern and Juttern also have pikeperch. Björkern offers char. Numerous other lakes of varying sizes promise an incredibly wide range of alternatives. Fishing licenses can be obtained for more than 20 different areas. Fishing is big in Kinda. You can buy a fishing license for all of Lake Åsunden and depth charts for most of the major lakes. Tests of many of the lakes show that the fishing is excellent. Fishing is often associated with the summer, but we also provide a long winter season. Ice fishing for perch is an amazing experience. Try it once and you’ll be hooked!
Kinda’s beautiful, bountiful forests are full of wildlife. Elk, fallow deer, roe deer, wild boar, foxes, badgers and hares abound. You can get a hunting license, do a course about wild boar, or simply enjoy the beauty of the flora and fauna in Kinda.
